We recently introduced new options - CozyBubble and CozyFancy. We have tested the market and the response was great. Our small sample CozyBubble (2m) will be available for viewing late October and a small CozyFancy will come soon after.
We are updating our website to reflect new options - more content coming soon, but main products are already online. We are also adding some videos on our Facebook and YouTube, make sure you check it out. We are looking into selling our showroom houses to make space for new ones, feel free to drop us an offer.

Good news - our showroom is now open! You can view it by arranging an appointment on our contact page, Mon-Sat.
We are observing strict government rules for social distancing. Dear visitors,
We have decided to temporarily close our showroom to general public due to COVID-19 situation. We are very sorry for any inconvenience, however in these times we all need to be careful. You can still reach us over email, phone, FB, LinkedIN or Zoom/Google Hangouts and discuss any of your needs. Orders can still be made, however at this moment our installation team is not available. We just moved our showroom and it is now open. We are working hard to make it presentable (we need a few more days for final touches), but you can already visit us as all the hard work has been completed.
Please give us a call so we make sure to be there. We expect to have open days on Saturdays from the mid-January and per request. More information about that in January. See you soon! Hrvoje (Hal) Hancevic-Grabic called for donations to firies in all organisations he is associated with professionally or voluntarily. CozyContainers joined Australian Mensa, Kippax Toastmasters and ForwardIT in a donation of supplies to our firies. Some people delivered themselves or donated directly online (RFS). Mary and Hal collected all donations that did not go directly, added on top and delivered to Queanbeyan Fire Control Centre. They will dispatch it to brave people fighting Currowan fire. This Sunday was our third time and we will be there one more time on 8th of December. Come and have a chat, we have some materials that are not on our website yet! Interest is very strong and we even got photobombed by some random kids while taking a photo with Santa! :) We will return on 19th and 26th of January. In the meantime, feel free to reach us as usual.
CozyCointainers sponsored food on LinkedIN Local Canberra and delivered short presentation20/11/2019 Our first order arrived! One CozySmall with a sunroom (studio-26sqm) and one CozyExpand (1bd-39sqm). These are our two most popular models/sizes in our offering. Our website is up and available!
There is a lot of work pending, though. We plan to bring price estimates for various options online. We are still negotiating local prices and options, as well as familiarising ourselves with local laws and requirements. While we will have some very affordable options, a fully contained granny flat should still fit in 35k estimate! Wow! Our website now has only core data, as we have been receiving phone calls of people asking for it. We plan to expand questions & answers area, upload a brochure for highly sought after CozyExpand and add individual house options. We are aiming to add one or two every day or two. So stay tuned! We have also received a lot of enquirers for offices - we will have to push with these too. We gave almost 100 business cards so far and people seem to be very excited, however we care that all information is accurate and easy to understand. We are also new to this ourselves - although that being said Mary has been in building supplies business for many years trading internationally and Hal has been in business for more than 2 decades and have dealt with projects of large complexities and 7 digit amounts - even participated in bigger ones - so we are confident that this will be a total success. While there are still details to be sorted, our address has been confirmed!
Just in time as our showroom containers will soon be on their way to Canberra! We are very excited! As our research completed and initial order for our showroom has been completed in April, we have agreed on our name and logo. Initial logo files had an issue and some corrections followed, however CozyContainers name and logo have been finalised.
Name is suitable for our initial line of products and highly searchable. We had to pay a premium price for a free (yes, unused) domain as all domain registrars would see these two words as a good combination. Although our future projects will not just be container based, we have decided to proceed. Cozy vs cosy? Cozy is a stronger word globally on Google ranks and also in a steep growth on Google trends even in Australia, getting very close to cosy. There are a lot of searches around alternative housing, so the name made most sense. We used paid service to combine logo components that represent first two letters of our name (co-co) in a rotation. Now you know a bit of our history :) Five suggestions for a name and logo were made using some quick design and rough ideas, based on availability of names and trademarks.
One name had to be ruled out. Mary and Hal discussed two ideas during a getaway in Batemans Bay, NSW, which were somewhat similar. We have agreed to make a third one, something that will one day become CozyContainers.
After some brainstorming, we have approached manager of a holiday park we were staying in and "tested waters". We have received very little interest at the beginning, but 5-10 minutes into discussion and while giving some quick numbers, we got a request for a business card and a website. We had none, but that was a success! Key arguments we used were price, ease of deployment and removal - something that is a pain point at the moment, as well as the ability to provide all sizes including small sizes that a competition had (better return per square meter of space compared to luxurious options). Discussion went well as small and large options existed - we saw how interesting our value proposition is. |
